  In a recent interview Shaun Stenning was asked what he felt was most important during the COVID 19 Pandemic and his answer were surprising to the interviewer.   Shaun replied “ Family is the most important thing during COVID 19 .   With so much disruption to our lives, we need to bind together as a family and support each other.” The concept of family has evolved over time.   The traditional family unit was a wife and husband, kids, grandparents, and cousins.   But for people who choose to live as ex-pats in alternate countries this traditional family unit may not be available. Shaun is one of those people, when Shaun Stenning was asked how we defined his family the unit he replied with “Anyone who has influenced my life and come together with me during this difficult time and are in close proximity to me.   With the closure of international borders flying to see the family is almost impossible.   So we must make the people around us inclusive into our local ex-pat family unit.”
